Warranty Policy

• The warranty covers damage defects in software defects, defective components, or VinFast assembly errors, provided the electric bus is properly used and maintained. Items listed under Warranty Exclusions are not covered.
• Replacement parts provided under warranty are the smallest individual genuine parts or components supplied by VinFast.
• Warranty coverage is valid throughout Vietnam and is provided exclusively at VinFast Authorized Service Centers and Dealers.
• Warranty repairs are performed free of charge in accordance with the applicable warranty terms and conditions.

VinFast is not responsible for recalling and replacing the vehicle with another product if the defect in quality, materials, or manufacturer assembly can be remedied through warranty repair.

New-vehicle warranty: All VinFast electric bus models are covered for 5 years from the Vehicle Warranty Activation Date, with unlimited mileage.

Please review the following warranty exclusions to understand and protect your warranty benefits.

Damage caused by repair, adjustment, connection of non-genuine accessories, or unauthorized modifications from the original design, such as changes to power output, structure, etc.

Damage caused by improper use or vehicle misuse, such as driving under extreme conditions including racing, rough-road driving, overloading, or use and storage that do not follow the Owner’s Manual.

Damage caused by the use of non-genuine parts, or lubricants, coolant, etc. that do not meet the specifications stated in the Owner’s Manual.

Normal surface corrosion, paint fading, rubber aging, deterioration of oils or grease, natural wear, and depreciation over time.

Conditions that VinFast assesses as not affecting vehicle quality or operation, such as noise, minor vibration, oil seepage, etc.

Damage caused by factors beyond the manufacturer’s control, such as natural disasters including fire, earthquakes, floods, storms, thunder, lightning, and inundation; fire or explosion, collisions, stone impact, theft, or similar events; and subsequent damage resulting from these events. This also includes damage or loss caused by smoke, chemicals, bird droppings, seawater, sea air, salt, acid rain, or similar conditions.

Cleaning, inspection, adjustment, and other periodic maintenance items. Costs incurred for periodic inspection and maintenance performed by the Authorized Service Center/Dealer are not covered by VinFast’s warranty responsibility and are borne by the vehicle owner.

Damage to items subject to natural wear and included in the periodic replacement list, such as oils, grease, brake pads, wiper blades, filters, key batteries, fuses, etc.

Damage to the charging inlet caused by misuse; damage to the RFID card or key; or damage to components or wiring of the high-voltage electrical system caused by inadequate insulation methods.

Damage caused by failure to follow warning lights, storage requirements, and vehicle-use instructions, or by periodic maintenance and repair not performed correctly in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.

Damage caused by improper towing contrary to the recommendations in the Owner’s Manual.

Alteration of the odometer reading, or erasure or loss of the original condition of parts that prevents verification that the parts were originally fitted to the vehicle.

Damage occurring during the warranty period but reported after warranty expiry due to delay by the user.

To the extent permitted by law, VinFast is not responsible for indirect losses or other incidental expenses, including telephone charges, accommodation, replacement transportation, travel, business losses, or time.
